Cutting Your Taxes and Fiscal Responsibility

There is nothing more important than putting money back into the pockets of hard-working Florida families. JJ Grow voted to cut BILLIONS in taxes, including sales taxes holidays for school supplies, tools, and hurricane preparedness items and voted to place historic property tax relief on the ballot this November, potentially saving homeowners thousands of dollars a year in property taxes. JJ also voted to shrink the size of state government, voting for back-to-back balanced budgets that reduced spending, paid off early one billion in debt and put billions in the state’s Rainy Day Fund.

Insurance

Florida’s insurance market needs continued reforms to make sure we have a thriving, stable, and AFFORDABLE marketplace. Because of the reforms, passed a few years ago that targeted frivolous lawsuits and needless litigation, our insurance market is showing signs of improvement. We’ve seen OVER 30 homeowners’ insurance companies DECREASE their rates, we’ve seen OVER 40 auto insurance companies DECREASE their rates and we’ve had nearly two dozen new insurance companies come into Florida – more competition helps lower prices.

We have to remain vigilant and make sure that insurance companies are doing the right thing, paying out claims, and not hiding profits so homeowners and drivers can enjoy continued reductions in rates.

Strong Borders

JJ Grow voted to secure Florida’s borders, join the fight with our federal partners to stop illegal immigration, and strengthened our laws against violent predators.

JJ Grow voted to make the death penalty automatic for an illegal alien caught committing a capital offense. And then JJ voted to provide record funding for detention and deportations of criminal illegal aliens.

Improving Florida’s Schools

There is nothing more important than making sure our children receive a world-class education. JJ is a strong supporter of school choice and empowering parents to have more control of their child’s future and education. JJ supported parents and students by revising our school start times to ensure students aren’t put in danger and are starting school at an acceptable hour. JJ also expanded access to transportation options to schoolchildren to protect them traveling to school and increased access for home-school students to play in school sports.

Funding Critical Project to Protect Florida

JJ Grow voted to cut taxes, balance our budget and provide billions in tax relief while also funding billions in Florida’s road and transportation projects to fight congestion and billion in Everglades Restoration efforts and nearly $300 million to cover over 200,000 Florida children every year with free healthcare to make sure our children are taken care of. JJ Grow believes in making government leaner but more efficient by focusing on the things we all believe need to be tackling on the state level.

Safeguarding our Conservative Values

As a lifelong conservative, JJ Grow is committed to protecting our Constitutional principles and our Florida First values. JJ extended the ban on mask mandates and mRNA vaccines. JJ stopped woke DEI in higher education by requiring class instructional materials be posted publicly and penalties for universities who promote DEI. And JJ stood with Florida gun owners by voting for open carry and protecting Second Amendment rights.
